In the first session learners get to understand what makes the difference in a photo. The trainer is Stefano Virgilli, Italian Adobe Community Professional, well known in Singapore as a public speaker on photography matters. He spoke at Photoshop World in 2007, Digital Media Festival 2008, RINC and Adobe Webinars 2009, Professional Photographer Association 2010.

Whether one decides to apply some effects or not, the "right cut" is the most important thing to start with. During the first part learners get familiar with terms such as rule of thirds, depth of field, camera angle and perspective. The focus of the first part is also on the use of a mobile device to understand more about landscape vs portrait, and hi-res vs low-res.

The second part targets mobile applications more specifically. Learners are exposed to a number of iPhone and Android apps that can "play the trick" on any photo. This session is lead by the Greek senior developer Vassilis Legakis. In 2007 he won the first prize at NOKIA's international C++ competition. From 2008 to 2011 he was Head of Mobile Development of San Fransisco based Velti Inc. Now Vassilis is full time trainer at VOX LAB.

Knowing the best iPhone photo applications gives to the learners an overview on how they are done. Learners can understand how a simple photography application is "written". Those with programing background will have a change to create their own photo app.
